More than “just a blogger”.

Education
Ashley is a graduate student studying clinical psychology and will be a licensed professional counselor by 2023. She interned at the counseling clinic on EIU’s campus as an individual and group therapist. Ashley was head coach of the EIU Cheer and Dance Teams during her first two years of graduate school. She is currently working remotely on her graduate thesis, studying the impacts of wellbeing in emerging adults from divorced families. Ashley hopes to be a child therapist to support children through any issues they may be facing.
Graduating Cum Laude from Saint Louis University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Ashley was the first student to graduate with a minor in Dance Performance. She helped create the dance performance degree alongside faculty of the Performing Arts department. She was a four year member of the Saint Louis University Dance team. Ashley led the team as Captain her junior and senior year. She was awarded the Student-Athlete Academic Excellence award all four years and Student-Athlete of the Year in 2017.
Volunteer Work
Being passionate about supporting others through difficult times, Ashley has been an active volunteer and supporter of Camp Kesem. This is a national organization that supports children through and beyond their parent’s cancer. Ashley currently volunteers for the organization as a member of the Camp Advisor Working Group. She provides mentorship to new camp advisors, interviews potential counselors, and supports chapters of the organization as needed. She is also a Senior Camp Advisor and Hotline Operator during the summers to support Kesem programming across the United States.

Ashley is a full time fashion and lifestyle blogger and frequently shares affordable fashion, helpful life advice, and positive messages on social media and here on the blog. Ashley lives with her boyfriend and two pups in Colorado and enjoys going to the gym, dancing, modeling, and watching reality TV (Bachelor franchise to be precise)! Thanks for being here 🙂
